As a marketer/ business owner, you probably tried, or are trying to get leads on Twitter. More than likely, it’s not going too great for you. As simple as Twitter is, it can be quite difficult to understand. Currently there are over 300 million Twitter users. The sheer volume can be overwhelming (and loud) at times.
So, you’ve done everything right. You generated quality leads using great content and congruent offers. At some point, you marketed off-line and accumulated even more leads. However, when it comes to getting on the phone and following-up with your leads, you just can’t do it. Your fear overcomes your desire to make money.
A list of names in your autoresponder won’t translate to sales unless there is communication between yourself and the leads. Each lead is a real person who honestly wants to know more about your business. Until you connect with your subscribers, they will remain names and email addresses in your autoresponder.
